For those wanting to focus on improving or maintaining the function of the cardiovascular system.

Initial RHR (resting heart rate) monitoring to be done by client at home and also by instructor at first session.

 RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) and the "Talk Test" will be utilized for sessions.

 Zone 2 - 4 are options for sessions.

Zone 5 will NOT be an option during sessions. 

If you want to improve your steady state but add in some anaerobic intervals, it will add improvement to your VO2Max

Zone 1 Easy/light       50-60% Max HR

Zone 2 Steady State    60-70

Zone 3 Tempo State     70-80

Zone 4 Threshold State 80-90

Zone 5 Sprint             90-100
